About the role We are currently looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) in the field of Database Management and Automation (m/f/d) to join our global Portfolio & Investments Team for renewable energy projects. The role will be to support the team in further developing and improving our global benchmark database and underlying processes to enable BayWa r.e. subsidiaries globally to value renewable energy projects with common assumptions.This position is preferably located at our headquarters in Munich or in one of our other German offices locations. What You Will Do You will support and enhance our benchmarks database connected to PowerApps to provide additional features for extraction of essential data for financial modeling in renewable projectsYou will engage with colleagues and contribute to enhancing best practice methods, valuation processes, knowledge management, internal tools, and templatesYou will design and implement automated workflows and processesYou will develop and implement automation strategies for data collection, analysis, and reporting What You Bring You have a relevant university degree in a numerical discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or similarYou have strong programming abilities (Python or similar languages)You are proficient in SQL database management and familiar with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and PowerAppsYou are a self-motivated and enthusiastic team player with a getting-things-done mindset and a willingness collaborate with all your colleaguesYou are proactive and have a strong drive to improve tools and innovate proceduresYou are creative, pragmatic, well organised, with a passion for advancing renewable energyYou have excellent written and spoken communication skills in EnglishYou are ideally available for 12-16 hours per week, for a minimum period of one year, preferably longer What We Offer You Mobile working Flexible working hours Modern office atmosphere Company restaurant / Barista bar Discounted Conditions Fitness Discounted Online Shopping Smartphone, also for private use JobRad We look forward to your application!
