Your tasksIn our team you will work on our solutions for automated communication between companies on the electricity market and the associated processes. Developing code that counts: You will develop software solutions that ensure that female customers can contribute to the energy transition with green, sustainable electricity and that the electricity grids remain stable. Designing innovative systems: You'll be involved in every step from conceptualization to coordinating tasks and their implementation to quality assurance in order to drive progress in the electricity market with new and improved processes. Team collaboration: You work closely with teammates, develop solutions together, learn from others and share your knowledge. Recognize and share current trends: You deal with new technologies, follow the latest technical developments and present them to your colleagues. Your profileWould you like to help shape the energy industry? We are looking for enthusiasm for sustainability, not perfection. Diversity and a willingness to learn count. Apply and shape the future with us. You have sound knowledge of programming with Python3 and experience with the Django ORM. Quality assurance in the form of high-quality unit and integration tests and well-prepared acceptance tests is important to you. Additional experience with microservices, system and load tests is welcome! You have dealt with the analysis, design and documentation of efficient and secure processes and enjoy understanding and explaining complex interrelationships. Experience with the EDIFACT standard or its manifestation in the energy market, edi@energy, would be ideal, but is absolutely not a prerequisite! In order to deepen or acquire your specialist knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the electricity market, it is necessary for the position that you are business fluent in German. You are characterized by your technical expertise and are willing to work in a team. Basic English skills are important for us, knowledge of German is another plus point. Above all, it is important to us that you can contribute to our joint success with your specialist knowledge. Our tech stackThe majority of our processes are realized in Python/Django, the predominant database technology is PostgreSQL. Among other things, we use the Robot Framework for system tests and deploy our dockerized code as part of a CI process supported by GitLab in Kubernetes test and production environments.
